The Creative Learning Alliance joined Olsson at their creativity lab, 905 Main, Joplin, Monday, October 26 at 2PM for an exciting presentation. Olsson presented a matching check for $1000 to the Creative Learning Alliance to kick start their Giving Tuesday fundraising for their STEAM Center. The funds will be a match for community giving to be focused on November 29, 2022. GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.
Project Coordinator Neely Myers said, “We’ll be building a campaign for the next month encouraging at least 100 of our supporters to give $100 on November 29. We could not be more thrilled that Olsson committed to matching up to the first $1000. It is community partners like Olsson that help us bring critical STEAM education in a fun atmosphere to the children of the region.”
Keri Kirby, Olsson Office Administrative Coordinator added “Olsson’s mission is to support the community we live in and work in and we feel it is important to enrich the lives of our youth with STEAM based activities. We are honored to support CLA with their mission..”
